Perfect at any time of the day, this soda scone recipe is easy to make and delicious with your favourite jam.
Place all the ingredients in the bowl of a stand mixer and mix to form the dough.
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and divide into 2 equal parts
Roll out the dough until the 2 parts are approximately 8 inches across. Lightly mark the dough to divide each into quarters
Place a large non stick frying pan onto a medium/high heat and allow to come to temperature. The pan needs to be hot!!
Cook each scone for approximately 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Remove from the heat and allow to cool before separating into 8 individual scones.
