My homemade pizza sauce is packed full of flavour and is quick and easy to make.
This recipe makes enough to generously top 4 12 inch pizzas (approx. 2.5 tbsp per pizza). Here is my pizza dough recipe.
Fry the mined garlic cloves in olive oil for 30-60 seconds
add tomato puree and all herbs and cook out for a few mins.
Add passata and bay leaf and simmer for 10 mins
Feel free to add or remove any of herbs in the recipe. It's your pizza, make it how you like it.
This pizza sauce freezes well. I use a large ice cube tray and freeze in 2 tbsp batches.
